Mental health matters ✊and I will always advocate for it. So many people suffer alone even in a room full of people.
How you can promote mental health in your home:
1. Talk to each other/your spouse/your children
Sometimes you just need to unplug and ignore your phone for a bit and talk to people. Someone might be having a bad day and you won’t know it because you are too busy scrolling Instagram.
2. Pay attention to mannerisms, changes in mood and diet. Don’t get so caught in your life that you miss the signs.
3. Always ask for consent before venting. Make sure the other person is in the right frame of mind before you pour your heart out.
