Hope Is Our Only Wing- A Review

Just a Rant: I stumbled on this book on Goodreads (yep I binge-scroll Goodreads) and decided to give it a shot and make it my February KoffeeRead of the month. Do I regret it? Nope!

Ancillar’s Book Summary:

The book begins with a new student ( Shamiso) arriving at a boarding school in Zimbabwe after having lived in England for a while. It tells the unlikely friendship of two girls -one struggling with grief and bewilderment following her father’s death (her father happened to be a journalist) and Tanyaradzwa, whose life isn’t as normal as you would have hoped it was as she is battling cancer. What do you hold on to when life keeps throwing you bread crumbs if not hope.

Cover Rating: 3/5

Will I be reading more books by the same author? Of course!

Do you recommend this book: Yes

Overall Rating: ☕️☕️☕️☕️/☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
