Just a rant: I didn’t expect to cry when I started this book but this book moved me to tears and yes I cried and yes my heart hurt

What happens next is for you to go read the book

Character/s I loved : SJ she was smart and was woke (yep I am cool too) and Justyce

The Voting Booth by Brandy Colbert-A Review

Genre: Young Adult

Just a rant: This is my first Brandy Colbert book and cue the books because I am all for more *wink* Brandy Colbert

What is the book about: 

It tells the story of Marva who is determined to make a difference in the world and is super ready to vote in her first election and Duke who is tired of being compared to his brother goes to VOTE just to be said he voted. So the book really begins when Marva sees Duke being turned away from the polling station and makes it her MISSION to get Duke to vote.

What I Liked About It: The book touched on the importance of young people voting, voter repression,racism and also a tad bitof privilidge

Favorite Character(s) :Marva and Duke
